Event: NSW State Age and Elite Championships

Date: 5th - 6th April, 2008

Venue: CCYC

Six Tasmanian athletes travelled to Gosford in April to contest the NSW State Championships, an Australian Team qualifying event for the Indo-Pacific Championships being held in New Zealand later this year. The team competed well with outstanding performances by Jack Penny in the Senior International Men's Double-Mini and Synchronised Trampoline, Damien Axelsen in the Junior International and Under 17 Men's Individual Trampoline, Natalie Skinner in the Under 15 Women's Double-Mini, Isabella Kerr in the Under 17 Women's Double-Mini, and Patrick Sauerwald in the Under 13 Men's Double-Mini and Under 15 Men's Synchronised Trampoline. Jack, Damien and Patrick have all achieved minimum qualification scores for the team to be announced after National Championships.

Apart from the competition side of things it was a great trip with the five Hobart team members spending an awesome day in Sydney. Lots of photo shoots and memories.
